Faithfold B are like a box of chocolates this season – you just never know which one you are going to get.
Some people have labelled them a one-man team, but that’d be disrespectful to the other 10. Richard Fogelman has scored 10 goals in two games, including a magnificent seven against Mill Hill Dons last week. His finishing was simply on a different level.
But they have some other good players, including Ben Kfir and Louis Taylor and will be hopeful of booking their place in round three.
Temple Fortune slipped up for the first time last week so it’s all about recovery for them on Sunday.
The league is the clear priority for Simon Linden but he told JC Sport this week “a cup run would be great for the club”.
Linden commented: “We are looking to bounce back from last week’s defeat although I'm not sure what to make of Faithfold; one week they lose 7-1 and the next they win 8-0.”
Goals are guaranteed on Sunday when I’m tipping Fortune to return to winning ways.

FC TEAM B vs HERTSWOOD VALE
Home advantage is expected to help FC Team B progress into the third round of the MGBSFL League Cup when they take on league rivals Hertswood Vale.
Eitan Ben Zion and Eddie Sternberg guided them past Boca Jewniors in the previous round last week and they will start Sunday’s match as favourites.
But the Vale boys will be no pushovers and they firmly believe a first competitive win is just around the corner.
Vale joint-manager Jack Shulman told JC Sport: “We’re very much looking forward to this game, although the results may not show it we are improving massively each week and really beginning to gel as a team. Last week especially we didn't deserve to lose 3-0 it isn't even close to how the game went.
“This week we have a good number of players available and are getting closer and closer to where we want to be, with huge numbers in training we've been able to work on our deficiencies and improve upon them, very soon we will be the well-oiled machine we want to be.”
There is no pressure on Vale on Sunday and I have no doubt they will break that duck sooner rather than later, but I can see FC Team’s big match experience coming to the fore.

FINCHLEY CITY FC vs FAITHFOLD A
There’s a mouth-watering contest in store in Finchley where Division One rivals Finchley City and Faithfold are ready to rumble.
I’ve been impressed with Finchley’s start – two wins in three – and they are determined to claim a major scalp of a team that has a rich history in the competition.
Finchley supporters are looking forward to seeing Oliver Sade and Daniel Polak in full flow against a Faithfold team that has had a different look and feel about it. And the arrival of former Hendon A star Gav Krieger will give them energy and a physical presence.
And boss Joel Holder is confident his players can turn on the style on Sunday.
"One of our objectives for the season was to have a good cup run as we have a squad capable of going far in the competition,” he told JC Sport. “The squad is looking strong at the moment, there is competition for places all over the team
"Faithfold A will be tough opposition, but we know what we need to do to get a positive result.
"The confidence is back after last Sunday's win against Bilbaum, but it's now time to show this type of form on a consistent basis.”
Faithfold went down 3-1 against Lions last week, but they have the ammunition to ask questions of any defence in the MGBSFL.
But momentum is important in football and that’s why I’m tipping Finchley to edge a thriller.

HENDON UNITED SPORTS CLUB A vs REAL HENDON
Rotation could be the name of the game for league leaders Hendon ahead of one of two derbies this weekend.
They produced a mature performance against a tenacious Camden Park side who didn’t stop running. In the end Hendon’s finishing proved the difference in a game where Yoav Lebens was the star performer.
Manager David Garbacz was delighted to see Dovi Fehler return to the scoresheet. Now he hopes the Team GB striker can go on a goal-scoring run, just like the red-hot Zack Lewis.
Ahead of kick-off Garbacz told JC Sport: “After a great start to our league campaign we can now concentrate on two cup competitions in the next couple of weeks.
"As always when we draw a team from a lower division we need to guard against complacency and make sure we do a good professional job.
"It may be a good opportunity to tinker with the team a bit but our squad is so strong this year that whoever plays will be top quality.
"Real Hendon possess a couple of ex-Hendon and B-team players so it will be a bit of a derby and I’m sure they will fancy their chances of creating an upset, but if we were to lose this week, I may make our players fast from Sunday night to after Yom Kippur as a punishment!"
You can get 50-1 on Real being in the hat for round three on Sunday night. No doubt they will be buoyed by the win over Raiders C, but chances could be few and far between this weekend.
Fresh from his brace, Real player-manager Chaim Gothold told JC Sport: “Despite our win on Sunday, we know we are really up against it against Hendon A.
"We hope to make a game of it for as long as possible, although our lack of fitness will no doubt be exploited by them."
A front three of Yoav Kestenbaum, Fehler and Lewis will scare the living daylights out of most teams and if they break through early the floodgates will open.

HENDON UNITED SPORTS CLUB B vs LOS BLANCOS
Adam Ellis was in a league of his own last week – scoring five in one of the best individual performances I can remember outside of the Premier Division. It’s surely only a matter of time until David Garbacz comes to the conclusion that he must have some of that. But it’s no coincidence that he’s been banned from the B-team’s training ground!
Inspired by Glen Turner, Gid Barth and Ellis, Hendon now have their tails up and the next match cannot come soon enough.
Hendon joint-manager has named a full-strength squad for the tie and warned Blancos: "I think they'll be surprised to how different a team we are to three weeks ago. I'm very positive we will be dishing out some revenge."
However, on Sunday they will face a wounded Blancos team. Manager Nick Grosse was “extremely disappointed” about how “off the pace” his team were at times against Scrabble.
But he’s ready to wipe the slate clean and it won’t surprise me if he assigns one of his star defenders to a man-marking role on the ever-dangerous Ellis.
Ahead of kick-off, Grosse told JC Sport: "We need to improve on last week's performance, that's for sure!
"Nevertheless, we have the quality and depth in the squad to win when we are on good or bad form, so I fully expect to be in the second round draw."

Hendon last month so the challenge facing them now is to prove that result wasn’t a fluke.

MACCABI LONDON LIONS B vs CATFORD & BROMLEY MACCABI
Two in-form teams go head-to-head in a cup in what promises to be a battle of footballing cultures.
Young Nathan Schindler was the star man in the 3-1 win over Faithfold that sent the Lions to the top of Division One. He really is a chip off the block, and although those hours playing in the garden with his old man are really paying dividends. He's a proper baller.
There are goals all around this Lions team and I expect them to attack the Cats from all directions on Sunday.
Catford are relishing another meeting with the Lions. They will feel they have the psychological edge although I have them down as underdogs for Sunday.
"We managed to take four points off them last season and had some good games,” Catford boss Jeff Gotch told JC Sport.
"I'm really looking forward to taking a week off the league and giving some fringe players a chance
"I always said they would get a chance in the cups and I will stick to my word.
"I expect a hard game on a lovely surface and we're going to the Lane to enjoy ourselves."
The 4-1 win over RCUK was a real boost for the Catford camp who have nothing to lose on Sunday.
Gotch said: “We've set a marker in the league and that was the main aim this season and I can't be happier at how we've started
"We have several absentees this week as we rotate but I don't bemoan missing players and expect us to be giving it our all."
Superior fitness will be a factor here as the Lions end Catford dreams of an appearance at Wingate.

Josh Hambling isn't overly pleased about having to make the long trek to Rowley lane on Sunday as his Division Two high-flyers look to make the backpages of the JC when they take on a Lions A.
Jimmy Castle was the toast of Redbridge last Sunday as he fired them to a memorable third straight win of the season, against promotion rivals Temple Fortune.
Attention now turns to the League Cup, but they will be far from full-strength, as Hambling explains.
"Usually I'd welcome a cup game as a nice break from the league," he told JC Sport, "but the way we've started the season it's more of a distraction in the wrong way.
"The prospect of playing on MLL's fantastic pitch you'd have thought would have been enough motivation Romford my players. However, we seem to have 10 players out this week, either through knocks or away at Legoland!
"The players coming in know if they put everything into this game it gives me a selection headache for next week.
"After the A's win last week I've been working closely on the training pitch with the team trying to emulate the tactics they used. We know a few of the Malal players and it will be a tough game I'm sure, but I think we have a few boys who can wreck accumulators this week."
As Hambling indicated, the Lions tasted defeat for the first time last week. They were ultimately well beaten on the day and this fixture is coming at the right time as they look to get back on track.
The first 20 minutes will be crucial for RJC on Sunday. I'm expecting a strong Lions bench as this is a competition they want to win and can win.

Oakwood are currently circling London as manager Jason stein has no idea about the venue for Sunday.
Following the sting on Big Stan, I sensed a little defensiveness from the Oaks boss when I visited the club's training ground this week.
"Morning DC, have some leftover honey cake. And turn your hidden camera off please.
"Mill Hill Dons, really interesting one. They obviously made a very controversial decision when St Albans and moved to Mill Hill. I do feel for the supporters of St Albans left without an MSFL side.
"We did well in the Anekstein last season - reaching the quarter-finals - and I've no intention of seeing us eliminated early this season.
The Dons fell victim to Hurricane Fogelman last week, and they will need to pull out all the stops against a wounded Oakwood.
Boss Brandon Hamme told JC Sport: "We hope to bounce back from last week's disappointment with a solid performance this week.
"We know it will be a tough game, with us facing a team in the division above, but we are looking forward to the challenge."

NORTH LONDON RAIDERS A vs L’EQUIPE
The romance of the cup will be alive and kicking in Wembley on Sunday as holders North London Raiders A take on second division L'Equipe for the second year in a row.
Liron Mannie has been in sparkling form so far this season, reminding the MGBSFL world why he was voted Player of the Year the season before last.
NLR chief Dan Shafron assured me complacency won't be an issue as L'Orange set their sights on another trip to Wingate & Finchley.
He told JC Sport: "We’re looking forward to starting our second defence of the CA Cup this weekend. It’s a competition we want to win again and our squad selection on Sunday will reflect this.
~Last year we met L’Equipe in the same round and won narrowly 3-2. My understanding is that we almost felt the game was easily won before even getting out of bed. The boys who played that day had a sharp wake-up call that lower league opposition can’t be taken for granted, especially in cup competitions, and that is the message we’ve got across already.
"L’Equipe have a good set up and they will once again give it a good go against us however as I said, our squad selection for this game shows intent that we want to progress to the next round but the one main difference from us this time around will be our attitude and professionalism in our approach."
The visitors have made an excellent start, with Max Martin in phenomenal form. Andy Smith maintained his goal-a-game record and it's no surprise that there won't be a spare seat in the away end at the Ark.
Boss Nick Stern has put together a strong squad who believe they can cause one of the upsets of the decade. He told JC Sport: "Let’s just say we are very excited about the prospect about playing the two times reigning champions.
"We have absolutely nothing to lose as will clearly go in as the huge underdogs but having run Raiders so close last year we know that anything is possible.
"I will however be leveraging my big squad this week as the priority this year must be the league where we have started so fantastically. I will have a squad of 15 this week all of whom know the huge task at hand.
"However, as I said to them last year, we are facing 11 Jewish men and certainly not Ronaldo, Messi or Ozil. As long as my squad remember this, and give 110 per cent then you just never know.
"We saw last year that Raiders can get frustrated when things are not going their way so the first 20 minutes will be extremely critical. We need to take the one or two chances that we get and then defend for our lives!
"Whatever happens I am just excited to see my team up against one of the best Prem sides around."
Cup upsets are few and far between. Yes L'Equipe are a talented second division team, but knocking out the holders is a different proposition altogether. And something I'm not brave enough to predict. But that won't stop L'Equipe from dreaming big.

NORTH LONDON RAIDERS C vs FC TEAM A
FC Team's start must be a real worry to manager Mitch Young. A series of heavy defeats means they find themselves in the list of 'possible' cup upsets when they take on Raiders C.
However, the one thing in Team's favour is the fact that they've been scoring goals. The only problem is they cannot keep them out right now.
But it's surely only a matter of times until a side featuring the likes of Lorian Madanes, Mike Pearson, Ben Binder and Richard Salmon clicks into gear. And this could be the game to do it.
NLR slipped up last week but a strong league finish remains the focus. Unless they catch FC Team on an off-day, I don't think their fans will have too much to get excited about.

OAKWOOD A vs CAMDEN PARK
Sunday marks the long-awaited return of Kyle Bentwood - one of the best players in Jewish football.
This is major news for Oakwood fans as he brings so many qualities to the table. Joint-manager Dan Kristall told JC Sport: "Kyle's return is huge for us as up to the point of his injury in the Morrison game against Lions in March, he was an ever present. His experience and calmness in midfield has been missed and we look forward to his return."
Oakwood were not at full-strength when they beat Camden 4-1 in the league recently, with goal machine David Woolman the chief destroyer. They believe they have unfinished business in the competition, with Kristall warning: "The road to Wingate begins ...
"We're look forward to entertaining Camden in a cup that we are pushing to win after last season’s late disappointment.
"We felt that we were very unlucky at Wingate that day and are eager to go one step further this year. Our lack of depth to the squad was probably the decisive factor that day and it is one thing, that we feel we have improved on this season."
Reflecting on the recent meeting, he added: "We will not take Camden lightly. They only had 11 players with no bench in our last meeting a fortnight ago, so I am sure they will be stronger this weekend.
"They showed glimpses in the second half of that game and proved to us last season that they can be a dangerous opposition."
Camden Park earned special praise from Hendon boss David Garbacz last week. Their fans are still talking about Jake Saunderers' wonder strike that earned JC Goal of the Week. But manager Max Saunders knows that only a result will count rather than another strong showing.
From 1-11 Oakwood hold the aces but they know they must win all their individual and collective battles.

RCUK FC vs BRIXTON OLD BOYS
It's time for me to stick my neck on the line and go for a cup upset - RCUK to knock out first division Brixton.
Avi Markiewicz's boys have regrouped after two defeats and the challenge of a higher division team is just what they need.
Markiewicz believes the 4-1 scoreline against Catford was unjust and he'll be gunning for glory in the Anekstein.
"We've had a couple of disappointing results against Temple and Catford but that hasn't diminished our resolve or our hopes for this season but in fact has made us even more determined, Markiewicz told JC Sport.
"Included in that is a good cup run and that starts right here against Brixton. We firmly believe that that we can mix in with the League One boys and we are going to be doing all we can to get the right result.
"We certainly don't believe that this is a task that's above us. Unfortunately we are missing several key players this week but we still expect to put out a competitive team and produce the goods."
Confidence must be low in the Brixton camp after a string of defeats. Perhaps this is just the game to kickstart their campaign, but I can see RCUK's pace and movement up top proving too much for them.

REDBRIDGE JEWISH CARE A vs ATHLETIC BILBAUM
Damage limitation could be the best approach for first division Bilbaum when they take on a Redbridge team with their tails up.
The Baums have been toiling so far and I can see it being a long 90 minutes, and even longer journey back from deepest Essex.
Boss Nicky Shinder told JC Sport: "The last few weeks have been tough with injuries and low turnouts. However, we are approaching a turning point and look forward to a tricky battle against Redbridge. We will thrive on our status as the underdog."
Shinder and co will be somewhat relieved to hear RJC are without one of their most potent weapons, although they still carry a major threat with Daniel Garfinkle back amongst the goals.
And with Ryan Cole and James Berkley making a strong start, I expect RJC to cruise through.

SCRABBLE FC vs NORTH LONDON RAIDERS B
Revenge is the name of the game for Scrabble on Sunday when they tackle Raiders B for the second time this season.
Ray Abrahams' boys were second best against L'Orange a couple of weeks ago, but they have secured two wins since and know exactly what kind of performance is needed on Sunday.
Josh Bharier oozed class in last week's win, with striker Danny Sherman causing endless problems. More of the same is order of the day on Sunday.
It's clear Abrahams is relishing the chance to avenge their opening day league defeat against Raiders. He told JC Sport: "Last season we went out of both Cup competitions in the first round which was a disappointment in an otherwise faultless season on our way to the title. So we are looking to improve on that this year and it would be great to have a bit of a Cup run.
"Also Sunday's game gives a chance to put right that loss to Raiders which we only lost with a silly mistake near the end of the game which cost us a point.
"However Raiders are a good side and we are in for a tough game but we are still confident of going through as it's a different game and we are at home this time."
NLR were ultimately well beaten by Redbridge last week. It was no surprise that they looked a pale shadow of the team that beat the east Londoners with several regulars, and that appears to be the case again on Sunday.
Manager Jonathan Adelman told JC Sport: "Sadly we are still missing up to a dozen players this week. We did consider pulling out of the fixture but we will use the cup match as a chance to get game time in to some of our squad who've not played much this season.
"I'm sure Scrabble will be at full-strength and desperate to avenge the league defeat earlier in the season. We will just look to be more competitive than we were against Redbridge last weekend."

SPEC FC vs BRADY MACCABI
Brady have made a dream start to life back in the Premier Division, with SPEC FC among their early season scalps.
However, joint-manager Eli Dagul assured me that will count for nothing once the first whistle blows with a place in round three of the Cyril Anekstein Cup up for grabs.
The early season form of Reiss Mogilner has been well documented here. But they are far from a one-man band, with Ben Kohler, Marc Rister and Daniel Harrod pulling the strings.
Ahead of kick-off, Dagul told JC Sport: "We will not rest on the SPEC result from earlier this season. Brady against SPEC is always a fiery fixture and we know that we have to turn up with the right attitude to beat them.
"Both Josh and myself will make sure our players give 100 per cent as it's about time we had a run in the cup."
The fixture list has not been kind to SPEC FC so far this season - their first in the top-flight. But at least they cannot complain that the big games are coming thick and fast.
Player-manager Ricky Lawrence told JC Sport: "I'd be lying if I said it had been the start to the season we've been looking for but Sunday gives us some relief from the league.
"It's a shame we've got Brady in the cup as I think everyone was hoping for an easier draw but we also hope our rivalry with Brady could help kickstart our season as everyone will be up for the game.
"Unfortunately though, we do have a number of absentees but we're still able to name a decent side."
SPEC's best chance could be to try and break up play and not allow Brady to get up a head of steam. And set-piece delivery must be bang on.
There will be a pressure-cooker atmosphere in Borehamwood on Sunday and it could boil down to which teams keeps their discipline and 11 men on the pitch.

There's a crackerjack of a tie derby in store here as high-flying Redbridge B look to put one over a team they know inside out.
Five-star entertainment and a plethora of talking points are sure to come out of a match that sold out within hours of the draw being made.
Woodford have found life tough upon their return to the top table of Jewish football. They have under-achieved in the cup competitions but know exactly what is on the line on Sunday.
Joint-manager Daryl Kay told JC Sport: "We know this game is huge, not only as a local derby but also a massive chance to get that winning feeling back.
"Again, we’re thin on the ground with numbers but we welcome back Adam Shafron from injury, who has been a big miss for us.
"We know that Redbridge are beatable but also appreciate their good form this season. I’d like to say we know what to expect but as they signed every single Essex-based player who doesn’t play for Woodford, I don’t know who they’ll line-up now!
"We still have a strong team and the aim is to win, nothing less, but we’ll have to be at the races on Sunday from the first minute."
RJC warmed-up for the tie with a brilliant result and performance against Raiders last week. David Fialka is on the road to recovery but he might have to settle for a place on the bench for what is expected to be a high-octane affair.
Boss Sam Rank told JC Sport: "This Sunday sees a mammoth Essex cup contest. We are currently in brilliant form - winning all our league games to date and we are sitting joint-top of Division One."
Rank predicts "the game will see some great contests on the pitch - Craig Sandford vs Adam Shafron, Joe Jordan vs Daryl Green, Dean Ben Yosef vs Adam Poole Daniel Bean vs Alex Avram and Dan Andrews vs Harrison Midda.
