Dudi Sela stormed into the second round of the Men's Singles at the US Open with a thrilling four-set victory over Carlos Berlocq.
Berlocq of Argentina took the first set in swashbuckling fashion 6-1, but Sela rallied superbly to level the match after taking the second set 6-2.
Sela was the dominant force in set three, winning 6-3, before he powered home to win the fourth 7-5.
It was an important win for Sela who could meet Berlocq in next month's Davis Cup match in Florida.
However, there was disappointment for Shahar Peer in the Ladies Singles.
Peer won the first set 8-6 on a tie-break, but Mirjana Lučić-Baroni bounced back to see out the match 6-3, 6-2.
