Matt Stock was at his magical best as NLR boosted their treble hopes with an ultimately comprehensive victory over Premier Division rivals Lions Blue.

With skipper David Rhodes in commanding form at the back, Stock edged L'Orange a step closer to Wingate & Finchley with a display of stunning wizardry. He bagged a brace, including one stunning solo effort.

Elliot Moslawy added the gloss, with his second of the season, as NLR booked their place in the final four alongside Oakwood and holders Hendon.

NLR boss Rob Richman told JC Sport: "It was a much better display today, where we looked solid defensively and strong going forward.

"Matt Stock scored another quite brilliant solo goal but there were good performances from the entire squad.

"We await the semi final draw, where we will no doubt get Oakwood, with bated breath!

"A final comment on our star winger Jamie Wolfson. Straight after the game Jamie jetted off for his new life abroad in Hong Kong. He has been a wonderful part of the club since he joined in 2008 and he will be greatly missed, but we all wish him well for an exciting new challenge.

"The win today was very much our leaving present for him."

MLL boss Jamie Kyte was magnanimous in defeat, telling JC Sport: "It was areally well fought game and one Raiders deserved to win.

"It's in games like this that you rue your missed chances, and we had two golden opportunities, one in the first half and one in the second half.

"Now we can focus fully on the league and pushing up a few places."
