Michael Gaswirth believes Reich Insurance White have passed their acid test with flying colours.

The newly-formed Reich side made it four wins from four games.

Yoni Shadmi struck four times to continue his impressive start to life at Reich White.

But boss Gaswirth believes his team are now raising expectations as well as eyebrows.

He said: "We've played teams we would have fancied beating so to come through against Leeds was pleasing. It was our first test. Going 1-0 last season would have seen us crumble.

"But this is a different team now. We are playing with confidence and before long we had scored three quick-fire goals."

A see-saw game saw Reich take control thanks to Shadmi's cameo. Daniel Warwick and Simeon Goodman also weighed in as Leeds lost for the second time this season.

Gaswirth hailed new striker Shadmi and said: "He's been a real find for us. It's now eight goals for him and he will only get stronger and fitter the longer he plays. He is back from a spell in Israel and has proved an excellent addition."

Meanwhile, Roy Fux proved the difference as his four-goal salvo saw Maccabi Manchester Blue edge out their Yellow counterparts in a nine-goal thriller.

The derby game sprung into life as man-of-the-match Fux and Harry Margolis hit the net.
Anton Radiven's side hit back via Rafi Dynes (2), Moshe Hasid and Areyeh Barron but it counted for nothing in their 5-4 defeat.

And South Manchester 3rds finally broke their duck with a 6-2 win over the second team.

At the eighth attempt, the rock-bottom side earned their first victory with Guy Horne, Ben O'Healy and Noah Maddison all at the double.

Max Herman's brace was scant consolation for the struggling visitors.
