Season 2013/14 preview: Oakwood B

articlemain

Ian Tussie was one of the best things that ever happened to the MSFL last season. The good news is that he's back for more and he's keen to go out with a bang ...

Competitions have you entered this season? We've entered them all I think. I've got my eye on the Anekstein if I'm honest. I want to do Cyril proud

Have you made any new signings? We have signed Mike Silverberg from L'Equipe a year to the day after he rejected us. Funny, he didn't make such exorbitant demands this time around and the deal was a lot easier to complete and he's on significantly lower money than we put his way last year. He's a good lad Mike and has been like a new signing to us. We're negotiating with a few other players too at the moment with a couple of trialists coming to training this week. I have also signed Jamie Lyons on a free transfer and he brings a lot of physicality to our midfield. The first team have signed a few players too which is good for us as it strengthens the overall squad and will benefit us

Which of the signings excites you most? Harvey Kaye has joined the firsts, he's exciting, genuine old-fashioned eye-candy

Have any players left? So many. It was a like a genocide in our squad in the summer. Lee Simons realised he is without a club. Jacques Sultan was sold to South Manchester, I didn't want to lose him but he was unsettled in London and we had to let him go. We've lost The Beilin Cousins Matt and Anthony who have both joined ex-Oak hero J* Abrams at London Haroldeans. Yafeth Asher was released. Tim Glass had the last year of his contract paid up as he battles back from a knee injury

David Epstein remains on the transfer list and is training with the stiffs. He remains a complete nuisance. We offered him to a few teams in Division 3. One team was looking at him and said they needed a forward or else they'd have to fold. They decided to fold

Hopes for the season: Promotion. It's my last season at Oakwood before I return to Manchester to rejoin my boyhood club South Manchester. I want to go out on a high

Which players would you describe as the 'ones to watch' and why? I don't like to pinpoint any of my players Danny, it's not fair on the ones I don't pick

Which team/s do you consider your strongest challengers? Very hard to say as I don't know who is in our league. I do know FC Team C and AC Mill Hill from last year and they will both be competitive I'm sure. Let's hope no team folds though again and costs AC Mill Hill the title ...

Captain: Club Captain - Stefan Isaacs, Team Captain - Eric Lewis

Sponsors: Israeli-betting company Jewbetcha sponsor training ground, Woody 'Woody's' Grill our kits

Home ground: I think Brunel although not yet confirmed. Somewhere in alishvatz yoren no doubt

What will your team bring to the league this season? Foul and abusive language, numerous bookings for dissent, scrappy goals and no shortage of quality
