Season 2013/14 preview: Oakwood A

Oakwood A were hampered by injury last season, but managers Ric Blank and Alex Schock are confident we'll see the best of them this year.

Which competitions have you entered this season? Usual suspects, plus we've switched FA to London so will be in the London Sunday Cup as well

Have you made any new signings? Yes. we're delighted to have Harvey Kaye and Alex Koslover move down from Manchester. They're two good young players who will improve immeasurably over the next few years. We've had our eye on them for some time and are delighted they're with us. Once they've settled they'll be huge assets to the club. We also have one other big one in the pipeline but we'll announce that in a week or so

Which of the signings excites you most? All of them. But I'm most excited about the continuing development of the squad. We rarely lose players and I'm looking forward to seeing the likes of Josh Rose, Dan Ash and Dave Woolman go to a whole new level this season - I know they can do it. Plus, we welcome back from long-term injury Eddie Manson, Josh Bentley and Dan Rose. They're three huge players for this club and we are stronger by default. Those three along with Tommy Wright and Ian Bishop are like new signings for this club

Have any players left? Unfortunately Toby Levy resisted gravity and moved back to Manchester. That was a huge wrench. He's one of the best players in the league and an amazing lad off it too. He'll be back soon without doubt

Hopes for the season: That Joshy Rubes looks after himself and comes back fitter and stronger than ever. He didn't deserve his knee injury last season and he's a class player. We hope he'll be back after the new year. We are aiming for silverware which will come with greater consistency at both ends of the pitch. Our overall football is as good as any team - we need to learn to be ruthless and a rid ourselves of the naivety that crept in at times last season. I really think the returning injured players (including Kintish who missed six months last year) will have a massive impact on that front

Which players would you describe as the 'ones to watch' and why? Sam Jacobson joined us in February and has quickly shown what he can do in centre mid and at centre half. Now he has the lay of the land I expect him to become a massive player for us for many years. Dan Ash and Antony Kintish have looked electric in pre-season - both looking to take their game to another level amidst fierce competition and, of course, Brad Wine will be there tearing at teams relentlessly

Which teams do you consider your strongest challengers? There's a host of challengers this season. Brady have added a true goal-scorer to an already impressive squad, Lions will be extremely strong, Faithfold will be rock solid again, Hendon have a great spine and settled side, while Redbridge have signed half of what was clearly a very good Glenthorne side. Add that to Norstar and Raiders merging and you have an incredibly competitive league. The team that comes above Faithfold will win it, but it could be a very low points total. All I'm focusing on is improving both collectively and individually - and winning

Captain: Do you know Adam Levine?

    Sponsor: Jacob and Joseph Ltd

    Home ground: Brunel (grass)

What will your team bring to the league this season? A loud changing room and an enormous night out
