Season 2013/14 preview: Brady Maccabi B

articlemain

Josh Dagul has worked hard over the summer preparing the teams fitness and hopefully we will be able to hold our own in this strong division. The team has been disrupted with summer exams and summer holidays in recent weeks and are looking forward to getting the season underway when we are all back together. Dagul is hoping that they can maintain our strong emphasis on their fair play - finishing third in the MSFL out of all the teams for two years on trot - and they are hopeful they can build on their recent promotion to Division One league and record a respectable finish

Competitions entered: Division One and both cups

New signings: We have added a few to the squad whilst still retaining the core that has served us so well over the last two years

Which of the signings excites you most? We've never been a squad of individuals, but I'm confident our new signings will have a big impact on league this year

Have any players left? We have lost some players but have replaced them in a way which has strengthened the squad. We have lost James Joseph who was a great servant to the club and would always be welcome back with open arms and we would like to thank him for his help in the last two years

Hopes for the season: Every team will go into the season with the hopes of winning the league so I don't expect ours to be any different

Which players would you describe as the 'ones to watch' and why? I believe my whole squad should be ones to watch, but especially Josh Newman, Daniel Harrod and Reiss Mogilner. I expect them to set this league on fire

Which team/s do you consider your strongest challengers? Every team in the league can be considered a strong challenger so my team will have to perform every week to challenge

Captain: Samuel Frohlich

Sponsor: Impex Russell - one of the UK and Europe’s leading Crystal Chandelier lighting manufacturers and suppliers to the retailers and contract markets for over 60 years

Home ground: Rowley Lane

What will your team bring to the league this season? Exactly what we have brought to the leagues over the last two years - flair and the desire to succeed, but more importantly commitment to the beautiful game
