Season 2012/13 preview: Oakwood B

articlemain

Ian Tussie is the manage of the new Oakwood B team. He tells Danny Caro about his plans for the season.

Competitions entered: Everything I think. Fancy the Cyril Anklestein for a cup run.

Hopes for the season: Survival. 40 points. Maybe scrape Europe.

Main challengers: L'Equipe are the boys to beat. Some top class players there and I expect them to run away with it. The rest of us are just playing for second place.

Is your squad complete or are you still looking to strengthen? I'm very happy with my squad. We only came out of administration on August 1 so we've been scrapping to get a squad together. I'm happy we managed to keep hold of the likes of Vic Librae, Eric Lewis, Stefan Isaacs and Dave Epstein. Many of them went unpaid through the summer as we battled with the administrator and we owe them a debt of gratitude for their patience. Now though the squad is strong. I can't name all the new players but we are very excited by them. We are always looking to strengthen but we are looking for quality now over quantity.

Captain: Team captain is Eric lewis, club captain Stefan Isaacs

Ones to watch and why? Dave Epstein is the best finisher in Jewish football. He scores goals goals goals. And then some. Also Tim Glass is very experienced and had a left foot that can open a can of beans (and other tinned goods).

Home ground: Parmiters

Sponsors: Woody's Grill, Kilburn High Road
