Season 2012/13 preview: L'Equipe

articlemain

Having been relegated last season, L'Equipe are aiming for one thing in season 2012/13. Consistency. Manager David Prager discusses his plans for the year with Danny Caro.

Competitions entered: League and both cups.

Hopes for the season: We have a simple aim this season and that is to be consistent. Last year our form was consistently inconsistent. If we perform close to the best of our ability week in week out then anything is possible.

Which team/s in your division do you think pose the biggest threat? The new teams are always dangerous as they are an unknown quantity.

New signings: We have made two new signings this year; Dan Finegold & Anthony Isaacs but more importantly we have been able to secure the return of two L’Equipe legends Erez Nounou and Paul Rubenstein.

Is your squad complete or are you still looking to strengthen? I’m happy with the quality and size of our squad but if someone is good enough then we’ll take a look.

Captain: Mark Singer - our captain for five years - resigned at the end of last season and I’d like to publically thank him for his service. Our new captain is Mike Silverberg who is a great leader and I’m sure will be a great success.

Ones to watch and why: Last year's top goal-scorer Andy Burke will again be the man to watch but we have a quality squad this year.

Home ground: Barnet Copthall

Sponsor: We don’t have one but donations welcome.

What will your team bring to the league this season? We have an enthusiastic and committed team and can’t wait to get started.
