Season 2012/13 preview: FC Team C

articlemain

FC Team C had an encouraging first season. Now manager Mike Myers shares his best-laid plans with Danny Caro.

Competitions entered: MSFL Division 3, Cyril Ankestein, Peter Morrison

Hopes for the season: To play good football and hopefully get promoted.

Main challengers: The new teams in our division are always a threat as they are an unknown quantity.

New signings: We have signed some really strong players - Dave Cohen, Oli Senchal, Avi Nejad, Dan Tan, and Matthew Cohen.

Is your squad complete or are you still looking to strengthen? The squad is complete, but we did lose one of our top players, Max Worth, to injury in our first friendly which is a big loss and very unfortunate.

Captain: Jamie Breslaw

Ones to watch: Our two strikers are both called Dave Cohen so we have the double Daves up top and they both technically skilled and extremely quick - expect goals from these two.

Home ground: Aycliffe Pitches

Sponsor: Guardian Insurance

What will your team bring to the league this season? FC Team C will bring the best football to the league, free-flowing passing movements with sublime pace from the wingers and strikers. Hopefully we will build on last year; it took time for the Team to gel and we didn't have a consistent 11, but I believe that this year we will rectify those problems. We have also had a great pre-season beating the likes of Shirley Park, Neasden and Southgate Harmen, all teams in the higher divisions.
