Season 2012/13 preview: Brixton Old Boys A

articlemain

Brixton are back where they belong, according to manager John Nitka. Here, he tells Danny Caro what to expect this season.

Competitions entered: MSFL, Peter Morrison, Cyril Anekstein and the Sunday FA Cup

Hopes for the season: As much as I have predicted the past two seasons with back-to-back promotions, I aim to consolidate our Premiership status and have a good run in the cups and even maybe win one - we shall see

Main challengers: As normal there is Hendon and also I feel Brady will be up there as much as ourselves.

New signings: Liron Mannie, Marc Foster, Josh Greenham

Is your squad complete or are you still looking to strengthen? Our squad is not as strong as I would like as a couple of players have left as they felt they could not cope with the pressure of playing in the top division so I am looking for a couple of forwards who can score goals. Our defence and midfield are strong so if there is anyone out there who fancies playing for us get them to contact me.

Captain: Ed Weisz

Ones to watch: We play as a unit and I have some very good players and will not name any individuals

Home ground: We play at Clowes as we have done for the past 35 years

What will you bring to the league this season? The same as we have done over the past two years - call us the dark horses!
