Season 2012/13 preview: Brady Maccabi B

Brady ran out worthy winners of Division Four last season. Manager Josh Dagul tells Danny Caro about how he plans to work his magic once more.

Competitions entered: The league and both cups.

Hopes for the season: Back-to-back promotions is our objective, with the ultimate goal of adding a Division Two championship to the Division Four title we won last year. We would also like to have something of a run in the cups. Last season we beat a team two leagues above us, so we think we have pedigree in causing upsets. The cups give us a chance to potentially test ourselves against opposition from higher divisions, and this provides an invaluable learning experience for our youthful squad.

Main challengers: Bilbaum and Spec were our biggest threats last year and will come into the season with similar goals to ourselves. That we face both Bilbaum and SPEC in our opening two fixtures gives us a huge chance to put a marker down as far as the new campaign is concerned. Neasden C were the highest placed from Division 3 and runners up in last seasons Barry Goldstein Trophy so will also be threat.

New signings: We set out to conduct business early and we have addressed areas we felt needed strengthening.

Is your squad complete or are you still looking to strengthen? We have strengthened all over the pitch and are very happy with the current squad. Of course, if the right player comes on the market for the right price, then we are never going to shy away from making an approach.

Captain: James Joseph, Division 4 player of the season last year.

Ones to watch and why? Our front three of James Joseph, Dan Hildebrand and Reiss Mogilner scored around 60 goals between them last year and are key to our attacking creativity. Daniel Harrod, too, having dropped down from the Premiership to join the club he has supported since boyhood, is looking to continue his impressive form in his first full season at the Lane.

    Home ground: Rowley Lane

    Sponsors: Impex Russell

What will your team bring to the league this season? A strong travelling away support. On the field, passion and attacking guile as we intend to make ourselves known at this level for the football we play, in a Swansea way more than a Stoke way.
