Sassienies seal Maccabi Tenpin Bowling title

Last night saw the final round of Maccabi Tenpin Bowling’s second league season at Dunstable.

Last night saw the final round of Maccabi Tenpin Bowling’s second league season at Dunstable.

The top two teams, The Sassienies and Little & Large, were neck and neck with only pinfall separating them. With Little & Large taking the first game 4-0, The Sassienies fought back to take the second game by the same margin.

Going into the last game, it was all to play for but The Sassienies, represented by sibling pair of Darren and Charlie Sassienie, held their nerve to take the final game 3-1 and win the match 11-5 to win the 2010 title.

Little & Large finished second and last season's winners FRED finished in third place.

The new season will commence on September 7.

The 5th annual Maccabi GB Tenpin Bowling tournament will take place on October 3 at Airport Bowl, Heathrow. For more details and to reserve a place, contact Teddy Littner or Russ Snipper at league@maccabibowling.com.”
