Revenge is sweet for JFS

JFS broke their duck at the annual Belmont & Edgware Cricket Club inter-schools tournament after beating Hasmonean in the final.

Having finished runners-up in the two previous competitions, JFS (142-4) started the competition with a 66-run victory over King Solomon (86-7).

Hasmonean (117-6) won the other semi-final with a four-wicket success over Immanuel (117-5).

JFS (128-5) recorded a 28-run victory in the final against Hasmonean (100-6).

Immanuel (110-4) won the third/fourth playoff match by 22 runs after restricting King Solomon to 88-7.

In a tournament sponsored by Tribe, organiser Neil Myeroff presented the bowler of the tournament to JFS skipper Grant Reingold and the batsman award went to his brother Steven.
