Reich Insurance Blue laid down a huge marker by destroying Maccabi Manchester Yellow 9-1.

The MJSL table-toppers took advantage of their rivals falling victim to the weather by running riot, with Adam Wilson, Gabe Silva and Omni Perel all hit deadly doubles.

Eli Bloom, Rafi Leeker and Daniel Selwyn also weighed in as Reich Insurance Blue went goal crazy.

Reich Blue co-manager Stuart Delmonte said: “All we can do is win our games. We are hitting form but it could be too late as the title is out of our hands. We are realistic to know that we need other teams slipping up.

"But the more games we win the more pressure teams will feel. That’s normal. It’s nice to have the points in the bag but we know that blip we had last month could come back to haunt us."

Maccabi Manchester Yellow, who saw Andrew Hatton net before the floodgates opened, had high hopes for this season.

Instead it appears a mid-table finish appears their most likely outcome.
