TONY COHEN MEMORIAL CUP
SOUTH MANCHESTER SPORTS CLUB 2nd 2 REICH INSURANCE RANGERS 1

Reich Insurance Rangers chief Michael Freedman backed his side to recover from this first-leg loss in the Tony Memorial Cup.

Dan Linton and a Mark Collins penalty was enough for South Manchester Sports 2nd to take an advantage.

But the visitors, who hit back via Ben Blackston, fancy their chances of progressing.

"I'm confident we can turn this tie around at home," Freedman told JC Sport. "There was nothing really in this game.

"If it wasn’t for a freak goal which opened the scoring for them, it would have been a different story.

"That gave them something to hold onto, but I have no doubt we have enough quality to see us through."
