Rampant Raiders shoot down leaders

Premier Division leaders Redbridge Jewish Care A suffered their first defeat of the season as they were beaten 4-0 by North London Raiders A. Jacob Gold (2), Adam Joselyn and supersub Igal Yahya completed the rout.

Joint-manager Adam Fegan said: "Week by week we are improving. We continued to play our football and some excellent finishing swung the game in our favour."

Second placed Faithfold A came from 4-0 down with 20 minutes remaining to draw against North West Neasden B. Ben Wulwik (3) and Bruno Frankel had put NWN in pole position but Faithfold rallied with goals from Paul Savitz, Alex Levack, Jonny Haik and David Lederman.

Strikes from Yishai Last, Dovid Korman and Josh Bentley wrapped up a 3-0 win for Hendon United Sports Club A at Southgate Harmen A.

Two top-flight teams were eliminated from the London FA Sunday Challenge Cup. Neasden A were toppled 3-2 by Japanese Gaia, while London Maccabi Lions A were mauled 7-2 by New Salamis. Ollie Leslie and Jon Green grabbed consolations.

Faithfold B maintained their unbeaten start in Division Two with Doron Hershkorn, Daniel Hildebrand and Lee Greenfield among the goals in a 4-2 win at FC Marylebone. David Cohen-Scali and Yaniv Ohana replied.

David Garson's Faithfold C are top of Division Three after thumping Team JLGB 6-1. Paul Black had put JLGB ahead from the penalty spot but Faithfold hit back in style with goals from Ben Simons (3), Josh Sugarbread, Adam Barton and Ricky Stolzman.

Dan Markeson and Rob Greene helped Real Life earn a draw against UJIA for whom Matt Radstone and Simon Rinder replied.

Los Blancos are joint-top in Division Four after strikes from Sami Birnbaum (2), Adam Hersh and Ariel Weinstein earned them a 4-3 win over Shirley Park.

A quickfire hat-trick from half-time substitute Simon Finkelstein earned Athletic Bilbaum a 5-1 win over North London Raiders C. Jacob Brunner added another. Saul Stetson claimed Raiders' solitary effort.

Inter Borehamwood maintained their title push with a 4-2 win over Temple Fortune B. Adam Newman (3) and Scott Ackerman saw them home. Terry Jeffries (2) was the Fortune marksman.

David Israel helped Hendon C get off the mark as they surprised Jewventus 3-2. Mark Martell and Richard Fogelman struck in vain for Jewventus.

Montana Boca United A progressed to the second round of the Peter Morrison Trophy after beating Division One rivals Chigwell Athletic 3-0 with Gary Cohen (2) and Shuey Mirwis on target.

Two own goals helped FC Team B upset London Maccabi Lions C after extra time. Dave Silver and Eddie Sternberg wrapped up a 4-3 victory. Josh Dagul and Jamie Kyte replied.

Doubles from Jay Lawrence and joint player-manager Daniel Lipman helped Glenthorne United A come from behind to beat Brixton Old Boys. whose goals came through Danny Sherman and Alon Hershkorn.

An own goal following a Fabio Revieccio shot helped Glenthorne B past Zig Zag. The Thornes finished with 10 men after player-manager Elliot Coulton was sent off following two bookable offences. Lloyd Becker (2) , Daniel Amram (2), David Marcus and Robbie Weber steered Southgate Harmen B past Heath Banta. Stefan Simons and Daniel Sinai were the Banta scorers.

Keeper Paul Sanders was the hero with two saves in the shootout as Redbridge C overcame Montana B on penalties. Dan Gordon and Sam Sollosi netted for RJC in open play. Montana's goals came through Mark Simons and Matt Elash.

David Dinkin (3) and Rik Sherman steered North London Raiders B to a 4-0 demolition of Neasden C.

Woodford Wanderers breezed past Norstar B with goals from Jamie Golding, Mitch Hahn and Elliot Gold.
