Raiders reach the quarter-finals

    Hat-tricks from Jacob Gold and supersub Igal Yahya eased North London Raiders A into the last quarter-finals of the JC Cyril Anekstein Cup after they thumped Temple Fortune 8-1. Jonny Blain and Dan Sanford were also on target. Rob Benson claimed Fortune’s consolation from 35 yards.

    Mike Pearson (3) and Lee Bibring (2) lifted London Maccabi Lions A joint-top of the JC MSFL Premier Division with a 5-2 win over London Maccabi Lions B. James Gold and Dan Levy replied.

    UJS Norstar B went top of Division Four after claiming a win and a draw in a double-header against Blizzard Storm. Rafi Addlestone and Jeremy Elster were the Norstar scorers in the opener which ended 2-2. Ryan Colet and Joel Kutner replied.

    Norstar romped home in match two with Maurice Franks (2), Adam Seres (2), Nick Benson and Addlestone converting in a 6-1 victory. Kutner claimed the consolation
