Raiders C cruised to their fifth league win, with Josh Bloom, Will Ufland, Liam Stein and Oli Nathan doing the damage against the Cats.

NLR began to exert their dominance early on and playing a fast-paced game, ensured that Catford didn't really get a look in.

The hosts manufactured plenty of chances and could have taken the lead within 10 minutes but for a flying save from an indirect free-kick from Josh Bloom.

They kept knocking on Catford's door and eventually got their just desserts when Bloom put the Oranges in the lead with a low drive 10 minutes before the interval.

One became two before half-time when Will Ufland hit a low shot from the left of the box which left the keeper no chance as it went in off the keeper's left hand post. 2-0 at half time and it was no less than NLR C deserved.

Catford began the second half in much better fashion and kept the ball well, but NLR C's defence stood firm and keeper Grant Waissel only had one straightforward save to make throughout the 90.

The home side eventually continued to press again and played the ball around the big pitch at the Ark with ease. They made made the game safe when a stunning through ball from Marc Woolfe fed Liam Stein who raced through one on one with the keeper and slotted it past him.

The fourth and final goal arrived a minute later; Stein again breaking down the left side of the box and his ball across the face of the goal was turned in from six yards by Oli Nathan.

Raiders boss Zack Gothelf told JC Sport: "Although NLR C took a while to break down Catford, they thoroughly deserved their victory, with goals split between the players and a clean sheet on top. A very good day at the office for NLR C.

"Credit to the ref as well, he had an injury during the second half and carried on through rather than leaving the game early."
