Premier Division Team of the Season: profiles

articlemain

Dan Lee (Redbridge Jewish Care A) - the MSFL is blessed with several fine young keepers. Lee helped Redbridge complete a league and cup double. During a busy season, he also played for London Lions and the JC MSFL Rep Team. The owner of a monster kick, he was a big part of RJC's double dream. Pulled off some stunning saves and we wish him the best of luck at the European Maccabi Games in Vienna

Josh Lipman (Hendon Utd SC A) - the Hammers had some early problems at the back this season but since moving to central defence, Josh was been absolutely superb, a real model of consistency. David Garbacz cannot remember him having a bad game

David Rhodes (North London Raiders A) - the L'Orange skipper made the centre back position his own this season. Formed an excellent partnership alongside Mark Leader and led the team like a real warrior. I can only recall one goal being his fault this season

Alex Taylor (Faithfold A) - together with James Frener, Taylor was a key component in a new-look Faithfold team. Helped keep things tight at the back, showing leadership skills, a big heart and bravery. Excellent reader of the game

Ben Kon (Hendon Utd SC A) - the real engine force of Hendon this year. A great box-to-box player who scored some crucial goals. A new signing that has been nothing short of outstanding this term. His manager felt that it was a "travesty that he has been overlooked for both the Rep team and Europeans"

Paul Babai (Faithfold A) - South Manc's demise was Faithfold's gain. Jamie Cole was desperate to sign him but it was Zuriel Solomon who got one of the league's top players. He did not disappoint. Was outstanding in the first Rep Team match and maintained a very high standard throughout the campaign. Didn't deserve to be on the losing side in the Morrison final

Alex Olcot (North London Raiders A) - one of the finds of the season, Olcot wooed his Raiders teammates and helped the team take the division by storm. Called into the Rep Team in his first season in the league. He's got the lot in his locker and scored some important goals for the club

Ben Sollosi (Redbridge Jewish Care A) - fans favourite Sollosi had a stand-out year. Knitted into the midfield perfectly and scored some important goals throughout the season. Has a great engine, great feet and a great will-to-win. Definitely one to watch in Vienna

Greg Corin (Hendon Utd SC A) - Corin would walk into any MSFL team. The Jewish Ryan Giggs (talent-wise, not age), he makes the impossible look easy and always tries to stay on his feet. A regular source of goals in a team that many believed deserved silverware. He will be on a mission to make that happen in 2011/12

Daryl Phillips (Faithfold A) - worked hard off the pitch in the summer to ensure the club strengthened and also play a key role in the team's success on it, finishing as joint-top scorer in the Premier. Has a tremendous work ethic for a striker. As happy to make an assist as he is to score a goal

Daran Bern (Redbridge Jewish Care A) - my Player of the Year. Berny made a mockery of the most organised defence with his pace and twinkle-toes making him the main man in Redbridge's double charge. Showed an ice-cool temperament in front of goal and worked hard for his team. Also impressed on Rep Team duty and could be our secret weapon in Austria
