Pinner win at long last

Braces from Joel Benedyk and Joel Shaw steered Pinner to their first win of the season as they surprised title-chasing Alyth Belsize 5-0 in the Under 15 Division. Lewis Decker finished the job. HMH were crowned Under 12 Division champions after beating Redbridge Jewish Care in a double-header.

Zack Collins scored the only goal in match one. He added two more, along with strikes from Clark Norton and Noah Lachs in a 4-3 win in the second. Hendon Inter Schools White kept alive their Under 10 double hopes with a pair of victories over Hendon Hawks.

They reached the Plate Competition after claiming a 2-0 victory before Chaim Korman (3), Ari Rogosnitzky (3), Aaron Rosenberg eased them to a 7-2 win in a Blue Group match. League leaders HMH Blue opened a nine-point gap at the top of the table after claiming a draw and a win over nearest rivals Hendon Inter Schools Blue. Daniel Gubbay earned them a 1-1 draw. Then Jeremy Ben Nathan, Kalvin Ovsiowitz, Jack Josephs and Gabbay were on target in a 4-2 win.

HMH Red scored 16 goals without reply in a Red Group double-header against Hendon Hawks. Daniel Jacob (2), Daniel Paz, Dan Robinson, Johnnie Blitz, Yoseph Siza, Raffi Zysblat struck in an opening 7-0 success. Then Yoseph Siza (3), Daniel Jacob (2), Daniel Paz (2), Ariel Gould, Johnnie Blitz eased them to a 9-0 routing.

HMH Green also record maximum points over Brady Maccabi White. James Clark (2), Samuel Goldberg (2), Joseph Metliss, Oliver Fletcher and Eitan Hakimi set up a 7-0 win before Joshua Neerkin, Samuel Goldberg, Alex Fisher, Nathan Conn completed a 4-0 win.
