Pinner JFC claimed an emphatic win against the team third in their division which took the Sky Blues four points clear in an exciting hard fought game against inform Harvesters West.

With a fairly makeshift team Pinner started well, testing the opposition keeper on several occasions. At the other end, sturdy defending saw little to trouble to stand in keeper Simon Cohen who was awarded man-of-the-match with some outstanding saves in the second half.

The game was finely balanced when Adam Cohen was on the receiving end of a delicious cross from Ben 'the bullet' Green, which was bundled into the back of the net in a most unceremonious manner, to give his side the lead.

This was closely followed by a two-yard tap-in from Ollie Hershon for his fourth goal of the season.

The Sky Blues rounded things off by netting a third when Jake Greenfield, playing at left back, surged through the Harvesters defence and let rip with a thunderous right foot shot which nestled neatly into the net.

Pinner continued to press for the final minutes of the game, when Harvesters came forward and for the first time in the game and with the ball heading towards the top corner, it needed an outstretched Simon Cohen to maintain his clean sheet.
