Peer reaches round 3 in Dubai

Shahar Peer is into the third round at the Dubai Open following an easy victory this morning over 24th seed Virginie Razzano.

Having beaten Yanina Wickmayer in round one, Peer, ranked 22 in the world, beat Razzano of France 6-2, 6-2 in just 64 minutes.

The Israeli is scheduled to face either Danish No. 1 Caroline Wozniacki or Slovakia's Dominika Cibulkova tomorrow's.

She has also the second round of the ladies doubles where she partners Kazakhstan's Galina Voskoboeva.
