Several more Jewish athletes are in action on Day 13 of the 2012 London Olympics.

ATHLETICS
Steve Solomon helped Australia finish fourth in the heats of the 4x400m relay at the Olympic Stadium.

GYMNASTICS
Julie Zetlin of America and Israel's Neta Rivkin were in action in the Rhythmic Gymnastics competition at Wembley Arena.

Rivkin, the 2011 European silver medallist, scored 27.450 in her first routine with the hoop and followed it up with 26.200 with the ball.

She was commended on her "high throws and good risk element".

Rivkin said: "I was very pleased with my technical execution with the hoop. I also thought I did a good job with the ball, but lost focus for a split second when I dropped the ball.

"I must stay focused and be at my best tomorrow."

Zetlin placed 22nd after the second rotation.

Like Rivkin, she also hampered her ball routine with a drop.

Israel finished day one of qualification for the Team finals in eighth place. The top eight nations reach the final. Qualification concludes on Friday.

A spokesman for the squad said: "We're pleased with the performance but must return tomorrow and give it our best performance ever.

"We're determined to beat our six place finish in Beijing."
