There were wins for Raanana, England FC and Jerusalem in the latest round of Olim League fixtures.

FOUR-MIDABLE LEWIS MAKES DREAM START
JERUSALEM 8 ATHLETICO 1
Jerusalem boss Danny Newman says tougher challenges lie ahead after new boy Zack Lewis produced a wonder show in an 8-1 demolition of Athletico.

Jerusalem's goals were spread round the front men and wingers, with Amit Dinowitz scoring two, man-of-the-match Zack Lewis scoring and Akiva Zneimer and Eli Warner scoring one apiece.

Danny Newman told JC Sport: "With no disrespect to Athletico, who will get better as the season goes on, we know that we will face tougher challenges in the coming weeks as we take on some of the bigger names in the league.

Aviad Ben Meir was the star of the show as Raanana dished out some capital punishment against Jerusalem.

There were also goals for Haim Elimelech, Akiva Aronson and Aviv Cohen.

Raanana boss Moshe Freedman told JC Sport: "We did not expect to win with such conviction; the players really came together as a team. I think our new additions from Anglia FC gave us the experience in the back we lacked last season. We hope we will keep up this level of performance for the whole season."
