There was joy for Modiin, Jaffa and Jerusalem in the first round of Olim League of 2014.

MODIIN 7 ENGLAND FC 1
Former league champions England FC's bad start to the season continued as they finished with just eight men following three red cards in the 7-1 mauling at the hands of Modiin.

Strikes from Amichai Friedman, Joni Reiner (2), , Yonatan Journo, Matan Kroizer, Adi Meiyuri and youngster Beni Sragif putting Modiin in dreamland.

HA'COHEN MAKES CITY PAY THE PENALTY
JAFFA 2 AVIV CITY 1
A penalty from Nir Ha'Cohen helped FC Jaffa continued their strong run with their third win in the last five games with a hard-fought victory over Aviv City.

Naor Lisha had put City ahead, but it was Ha'Cohen who took centre stage with two cool finishes.

ONWARDS AND UPWARDS FOR FIVE-STAR JERUSALEM
JERUSALEM 5 RA'ANANA 1
Jerusalem continued their march up the table with a convincing 5-1 victory over a strong Ra'anana side, thanks to strikes from Eyal Toledo, Moishe Lewis, Akiva Zneimer, Gav Cohen and Zack Lewis.

Nathan Ben Ari grabbed a consolation for Ra'anana.
