Oakhill Lions continued their hot streak as they put AFC Flixton Reserves to the sword.

The students, who are unbeaten in 2014, are now firm favourites to progress to the Shonn Trophy semi-finals.

Richard Sandberg (2), Ben Mandell and Saul Hoyland were all on the scoresheet in this one-sided contest.

Flixton hit back through Yaniv Salem but they now have it all to do in the second leg.

Oakhill boss Josh Daniels told JC Sport: "This win puts us in pole position to make it through and we have to see out the job.

"It just maintains our form this year. We are undefeated and the team is coming together nicely."
