Oakhill Lions have lodged a complaint with MJSL chiefs following super-sub Adam Gilman’s last-gasp equaliser for Leeds Maccabi 2nds.
The students were up in arms after learning that Gilman had played for Leeds 1st just hours earlier.
And after the striker leapt off the bench to cancel out Chris Egan’s early strike, Oakhill boss Josh Daniels said: “We were not too happy.
"We have the asked the league to look at whether their goal-scorer was eligible to play for both teams on the same day.
"Whatever happens, we feel it’s not really in the spirit."
But Leeds Maccabi 2nds insist they have adhered to the league rules and boss Daniel Kristall said: “This is permitted.
"Adam is registered with us and has played the last four of our games. We had a few key players out so we were able to call on him.
"Leeds 1st play in a completely different league, a non-Jewish league, and that has no bearing in the MJSL.
"It smacks of sour grapes from Oakhill to be honest."
