Zak Zilesnick was the star of the show at the Greater London Closed Championships.

England’s number one Under 13 player, who has only been playing competitive table tennis for three years, set a record by winning all four junior events.

He captured the Under 18, Under 15 and Under 13 singles titles as well as the junior boys doubles crown at the London Progress club in Southall, West London. The European Maccabi Games double bronze medalist overcame Guy Ben-Aroya in the Under 15 final.

Elsewhere in the competition, Rafi Marom beat Chris Lewis, a top 50 England men’s player, on his way to claiming the Banded Singles title. Ashley Stokes and Dov Katz were losing semi-finalists in the men’s singles.
