Leeds Maccabi 1st warmed up for next Sunday’s title showdown in style by hitting Armley Conservatives for six.

Ian Selwyn’s men must defeat league leaders and reigning champions New Unicorn to have any chance of landing the Sunday Alliance crown.

The teams currently sit level on points at the top with Maccabi having played two games more.

But after their latest showing, Maccabi will be full of confidence after sweeping Armley aside 6-2.

Nick Vale continued his good form with a nicely taken strike, while further goals from captain Steven Berke, Dan Ross,Dan Seligman, Dan Davidson and Ben Wienberg completed the rout.

Meanwhile, Haroldeans stormed into the Feldman Cup semi-finals after crushing FC Cosmos in ruthless fashion.

Jacob Nevitt’s four-goal salvo and a Jamie Harris hat-trick did the damage with Zach Goodman rounding off an impressive 8-1 victory for the Merseysiders.

Manchester Maccabi 3rd stunned their own second team 2-1 to book a last-four clash with Haroldeans.

Daniel Harris scored twice with Max Rose grabbing a consolation for Maccabi 2nd.

Leeds Maccabi 2nd hit Crumpsall for six to set up a semi-final against Republic of Flixton.

Johnny Goldstone and Yossi Saunders both scored twice with Colin Abrahams and Barry Selwyn also on target in the 6-0 win.

In the MJSL, Oakhill claimed a 4-2 win over South Manchester Sports 2nd thanks to goals from Marc Maynard, Joe Davis, David Polden and Saul Hoyland.

Elsewhere, Manchester Maccabi 1st warmed up for next weekend’s Peter Morrison clash against Faithfold A by defeating Denton Cricket Club FC 3-1 in the Division Two League Cup.

Jack Lee scored a hat-trick as South Manchester Sports 1st defeated Trinity 7-2 in the Accountants League Premier Division.
