North West Neasden through to quarter-finals

North West Neasden A stormed into the quarter-finals of the Sunday FA Cup after beating Bungay Town 3-1.

TJ Keterman, Andy Glynne and an own goal moved them to within three games of the final at Anfield.

Neasden joint-manager Jamie Cole said: “I’m very proud the way in which we competed and handled themselves through the game.

Redbridge Jewish Care A won the all-MSFL tie in the London FA Sunday Intermediate Cup after beating UJS Norstar A 6-2. Daran Bern (2), Lewis Walker (2), Steve Summers and Sam McCarthy were their marksmen.

Hendon United B crashed out 8-1 against Tripimeni-Aris FC. Joint player-manager Martin Smulovitch grabbed a consolation.

Camden Park needed extra time to beat FC Marylebone 3-1 in the Peter Morrison Trophy. Darren Green, Michael Goldberg and Lee Levenson were the marksmen. Player-manager Jon Davody netted for Marylebone.

Ari Last (2), Michael Slavinsky (2), Josh Lipman and Avidan Last eased Hendon United A past Premier Division rivals Glenthorne United A.

Ryan Sher (2), Rob Bloch, Ryan Glynne, Bruno Frankel, Bradley Sharp and Alex Bowman steered North West Neasden B to a 7-1 success over HMH Under 18 B. Avishai Kestenbaum claimed a consolation for HMH.

Southgate Harmen A thumped Montana Boca United B 7-0 with strikes from Alex Bourne (3), Yair Knofo, Ben Murrell, Grant Taylor and Ori Kobi.

Brothers Gary Cohen (2) and Darren Cohen found the net as Montana Boca United A overcame UJS Norstar B 3-0.

Lee Neary and Neil Silverman saw Brixton Old Boys claim their first win of the campaign as they edged past FC Team B.

Faithfold A missed the chance to go clear at the top of the JC MSFL Premier Division. They went down 3-2 against London Maccabi Lions B for whom Nick Astaire, Ricky Rinder and Jon Green found the net. Alex Levack and Paul Lenchner replied. Lions player-manager Danny Reuben said: “It was a performance of grit and character. They certainly dominated the first half, but we responded brilliantly in the second. We are capable of getting results when we believe in ourselves and put sides under pressure.”

Jonny Blain (2), Jacob Gold and Jamie Wolfson steered North London Raiders A to third in Division One after seeing off Redbridge B 4-0.

Brady Maccabi boosted their promotion hopes with a 6-2 win at Red Sea courtesy of goals from Andrew Shuster (3), Richard Winton, Rob Lerner and an own goal.

Glenn Michaels (2) and Mark Conway (2) earned Chigwell Athletic a 4-2 win over Rapid Banta. Jeff Gross and David Shamash replied.

Simon Beresford (3), Dan Stock and Josh Kaye helped Faithfold B beat Temple Fortune 5-3. Fortune’s goals came via Rob Benson, Ben Isaacs and Lee Fegan.

Jason Miller (2), Josh Baron, Josh Lewis, Daniel Scott and an own goal inspired L’Equipe to an impressive 6-1 victory over promotion rivals Woodford Wanderers. Jerome Marks had drawn Woodford level.

L’Equipe manager Gideon Chain commented: “We passed the ball fluidly, looked dangerous from every set-piece and battled hard for every 50-50. Our hunger and determination for the win outmatched theirs.”

Joel Winton, Jonny Winton, Dan Ezra and Mark Truman found the net as Zig Zag edged past Faithfold C 4-3. David Garson, the Faithfold player-manager, said: “If we had been as clinical as them we would have won 10-4.

Elliott Pearl and Adam Lewis earned Catford & Bromley Maccabi a point at FC Heath. Joel Kutner (2), Alex Speck, Gary Hyams and Joe Stolerman inspired Blizzard Storm to a 5-0 success over Real Life. Dave Blackman, Jamie Crawford, Jack Rosenthal, Matthew Geppert and David Blitz earned Glenthorne United B a 5-2 win over title rivals Team JLGB. Barry Green and Nicky Stone replied.

Goals from Alex Sherr and Josh Greenham could not prevent Pinner JFC from losing 3-2 against Hendon United D.

Craig Sanford (2), Paul Sanders and David Castle helped Redbridge C squeeze past Athletic Bilbaum 4-3. Simon Finkelstein, Ed Green and Seb Silverman replied for Bilbaum.
