Three goals from Simon Perlmutter helped leaders Norstar A boost their title hopes after thumping Hendon United Sports Club B 6-1 in Division Two.

Eli Houri made it five in two games with a brace, with Anthony Goodmaker completing the rout as the Stars marched seven points clear.

Hendon's goals came through Chaim Gothold and Josh Lipman.

Norstar boss Phil Peters said: "It was a great team performance."

Faithfold C climbed to second in Division Three with a 6-1 victory over Team JLGB. Ben Simons (2), making it 19 for the season, Simon Beresford (2), Josh Sugarbread and Rob Phillips completed the rout.

JLGB's consolation came through Lee Stone.

Faithfold boss David Garson said: "We played some nice football in patches and scored some good goals without really playing with any tempo. This, perhaps, did something to do with the fact that it was a little cold."

Rob Silverman, the JLGB manager, said: "The best team won."
