Neasden end hoodoo

A Daniel Levenfiche hat-trick helped Premier Division champions North West Neasden A end their London Maccabi Lions A hoodoo as they beat the Rowley Lane giants 5-4.

Lee Cash and Jake Gottlieb were the other marksmen as Neasden beat Lions for the first time in 10 games. Ricky Kennet (2), James Gershfield and Mike Pearson netted for Lions. Hendon United A closed in on second place after beating Chigwell Athletic A in a double-header.

The Hammers won match one 4-1 courtesy of strikes from Greg Corin (2), Josh Bentley and Avidan Last. Saul Conway (2) and Corin struck as the second encounter finished 3-1. Adam Hakimi claimed Chigwell’s consolations in both matches. Daryl Phillips (3), Zuriel Solomon, Andrew Wolfin and Alex Taylor struck as Faithfold A sent Oakwood EDRS A down in a 6-2 victory. Darren Brown (3) and Sam McCarthy earned Redbridge Jewish Care A victory over lowly North London Raiders A, running out 4-3 winners.

Jonny Blain, Rik Sherman and Matt Sheldon replied. An own goal from Alex Haffner dented Montana Boca United A’s promotion hopes as they lost 2-1 against struggling Faithfold B. Andrew Binstock ‘s opener for Montana was cancelled out by Ben Marer. Daniel Gordon, Darryl Green and Simon Green struck as Chigwell Athletic B relegated Golders Green with a 3-1 victory.

North West Neasden B kept alive promotion hopes with a 3-2 win over Hendon United B with Bruno Frankel, Mark Simons and Adam Velleman their marksmen. South Mancs A boosted their title hopes in Division Two after claiming a pair of wins over FC Heath. Ben Lampert (2), Richard Fogelman and Jamie Kent scored in an opening 4-0 success. This was followed by an 8-1 win with Adam Littas (2), Paul Babai (2), Josh Franklin, Elliot Stern, Craig Cole and Alon Hershkorn on target.

Gideon Wetrin, Gideon Spector and Jamie Bernstein eased Dynamo Hendon’s relegation fears with a 3-1 success over Pure Orange Function Band in Division Four.
