MSFL 2013/14 preview: FC Team B

articlemain

Which competitions have you entered this season?: MSFL Division Two, Peter Morrison Trophy and Cyril Anekstein Cup

Have you made any new signings? Paul Savitz, Adam Savitz, Ben Radstone, Matt Davis, Jon Franks, Max Graves and in talks with Matt Radstone

Which of the signings excites you most? Paul Savitz is a great signing for us having just won the Premier League with Faithfold A. He comes with a great reputation and a lot of experience. Luckily Paul and his brother Adam have the same agent so we were able to sign a really excellent centre back as well. Matt Davis (former goalkeeper) may surprise a few people up front as well

Have any players left? Yes about four have left (none have joined other clubs), but as you can see we have strengthened very well

What are your hopes for the season? I hope we can have an enjoyable season and push for promotion. With the experience in this team I believe it would be disappointing if we were not challenging for the top two

Which players would you describe as the 'ones to watch' and why? I'm expecting a big season from Mitch Lassman following an excellent run of goals at the end of last season, and he also has 6 in 2 in pre season.
Look out for wide midfielders Dan Alfreds and player's player of the season Eddie Sternberg who are both very creative, have pace and are looking a lot fitter than last year

Which team do you consider your strongest challengers? FC Team C will be challenging. They have a lot of good young players and will be exciting to watch

Captain: Mitch Lassman

Team sponsor: Guardian Inheritance

Home ground: Old Camdenians in Mill Hill

What will your team bring to the league this season? I think we are going to be a hard team to beat
