Crumpsall sent shockwaves through the MJSL after claiming a stunning 5-2 win against reigning champions Manchester Maccabi 3rd.

Zevi Saunders’ side, who had lost all six games ahead of their trip to Brooklands, turned the formbook on its head as they produced their best performances for years.

Ben Kayser and Benjy Silverman both scored twice with Zalmy Lachs also getting on the scoresheet for the visitors.

Haroldeans continued their perfect start to the season by racking up a seventh straight victory with a crushing 5-0 win over Republic 2nd.

Bobby Abrams scored twice, while James Harris (2) and Ali Goldsmith ensured the Merseysiders moved seven points clear at the top.

South Manchester 2nd claimed all three points against Leeds Maccabi 3rd courtesy of a Marc Yaffe hat-trick.

Aden Levin was also on target for Neil Collins’ men, while Rafi Kaye and Joseph Jackson replied for Leeds.

Hyde Park cruised to a 4-0 win over Sporting thanks to an all-action midfield display by Harley Patoff.

Oli Grant scored twice, while David Herman and James Hudaly were also on target.
