articlemain

Paul Rose believes the future's bright going into the 63rd year of the MJSL.

Joint vice-chairman Rose, who will continue to oversee secretarial duties within the MJSL, is full of excitement ahead of the new campaign.

Broughton, Republic of Mancunia 2nd and Leeds Maccabi 3rd are new entrants to the division.

"Hopes are high as we have 11 teams in the MJSL this season," said Rose.

"We hope to enjoy a quarterly spot on Radio Manchester with several live cup draws, so the future is bright in year 63 of the MJSL."

"It's always good to have new teams involved and they will add to the party no doubt.

"Manchester Maccabi 3rd are a different team to last year and will have a lot to live up to, while both Hyde Park and South Manchester 2nd fell away as the season progressed."
