Mixed bag for Israeli clubs in Europa League

Late strikes from Dino Ndlovu and Pedro Galvan earned Bnei Yehuda a 2-0 victory over Shirak in the first leg of the Europa League second qualifying round.

The Israelis played the second half with 10 men after Aviv Hadad was sent off.

Maccabi Netanya went down 2-1 at home to KuPS. Substitute Yossi Shivhon registered for Maccabi.
