DANNY CARO'S GOAL OF THE WEEK - ADAM PARIS

---------------------------------
---------------------------------

JC GOAL OF THE WEEK: THE CONTENDERS
1. AVIDAN LAST (Hendon A) - a superb move down the left between Avishai Kestenbaum and Dave Seitler culminating in Seitler weaving past two defenders before crossing the ball into the box for Last to provide the predatory finish
2. YOEL DEAL (King Crown) - finished off a stunning 25-pass team move with a far post header
3. ADAM PARIS (Camden Park) - GOAL 1 - Having only been on the pitch for two minutes, super-sub Adam received the ball in the box surrounded by defenders. He flicked the ball on the turn, first time, over the head of an approaching defender and, with his second touch, flicked the ball over a second defender’s head allowing him space to calmly lob the keeper on the half-volley, just outside the six yard box, with typical composure. A truly special goal
4. TOBY NATHAN (AC Whetstone) - picked up the ball in his own half and ran at the AC Mill Hill midfield and defence, with his teammates making runs off him so the defenders had no idea what was going to happen next, he sent a delightful right footed shot over the keeper and into the top-left corner
5. LIAM STEIN (NL Raiders C) - fantastic assist and fantastic finish. A long diagonal pass from the right hand side by the halfway line by Marc Woolfe with his left foot that found Stein running in behind the FC Team C right back, one touch into within 10 yards and a fine left-footed finish across the keeper into the back of the net
6. NICK HARINGMAN (NL Raiders C) - played through behind the defence in the box, cut inside from the left onto his right foot, took it passed two defenders, rounded the keeper and slotted the ball home
7. LEOR HAREL (Faithfold B) - beat a defender before smashing a 25-yard screamer in the top left-hand corner

---------------------------------
---------------------------------

DANNY CARO'S MOMENT OF THE WEEK
MITCHEL ROSS - the KS forward skinned Sosobad's Josh Hambling after turning him, which looked as though it happened in super slow motion!

DANNY CARO'S QUOTE OF THE WEEK - GABRIEL JOHN

---------------------------------
---------------------------------

JC QUOTE OF THE WEEK: THE CONTENDERS
1. JASON STEIN (Oakwood B) - QUOTE 1 - "Yes, it probably was the best performance of the season and akin to Chanucah and Shavuot coming at once"
2. JASON STEIN (Oakwood B) - QUOTE 2 - "I'm taking the lads away to Baden Baden over Chanucah as I don't want them at home binging on latkes and doughnuts"
3. DAVID GARBACZ (Hendon A) - "This was a big win for us and should send out the message once again that it will need a very good team to stop us retaining our title which I assure you we still have a firm grip on"
4. RIC BLANK (Oakwood A) - "Congrats to Hendon - they are still the best game-managers around. They know when to play, when to go long, when to slow it down, etc, etc. It's a fantastic quality to have. They are a really good side, that play with pace and aggression. I don't mind losing to them. I cannot abide the way it happened. It won't happen again"
5. STEVE BLACK (ML Lions Green) - "We've taken one step forward and two steps back. Our mental discipline was poor from the get-go and too many members of the team took a young Shacharit team for granted"
6. ZACK GOTHELF (NL Raiders C) - "An enormous win which will surely send a message to the rest of the league that Norstar will not be propping up the division come the end of the season"
7. GABRIEL JOHN (Boca Jewniors) - "Ultimately, in my 21 years in MSFL thats one of the hardest defeats to take due to the nature. I have to credit London Rovers for a good performance, especially Avi Markiewicz who is soaring with confidence and has a real eye for goal, he was superb"
