Medal rush for Brit pack

Team Great Britain won five gold, six silver and 15 bronze at the recently concluded JCC North American Youth Games in Detroit.

The 38-athlete delegation took part in seven sports at the annual event that attracted more than 3,000 teenagers from USA, Canada, Hungary, Israel, Mexico and Venezuela.

High jumper James Levy was head and shoulders above of the rest. He brought home seven medals. Olympic legend Mark Spitz was a guest speaker at the opening ceremony.
