Hendon continued their relentless march towards the treble with an easy win over FC Team B confirming their place in the Peter Morrison final.

Hendon boss David Garbacz told JC Sport: "These are very exciting times for us - Seder night around the corner plus two cup finals - I know what I'm more looking forward to."

FC Team player-manager David Gordon told JC Sport: "The cup dream is over for another season, but we are proud and honoured to have made it so far in the competition, and all of the boys deserve immense credit for that."

    OAKS GLAD ALL OVER
OAKWOOD A 3 SOUTH MANCHESTER SPORTS CLUB 1st 2 AET
Alex Koslover fired Oakwood to Wingate as the mighty Oaks booked their place in the final against Hendon with a thrilling 3-2 win over treble-chasers South Manchester after extra-time.

Bradley Wine and Sam Jacobson were the other goal-scoring heroes for the MGBSFL Premier Division side.

Oaks joint-boss Ric Blank told JC Sport: "We're all buzzing, as you'd expect. It was a tough game, but we did it and now have a repeat of the 2012 final."

South Manchester boss Jody Marks told JC Sport: "Missing four key players hurt us in the end, and on another day we may have snatched it. I would like no better team to win it now than our friends in London and hope they now go one better than they did two years ago against Hendon."

    PHILLIPS CAGES LIONS
FAITHFOLD A 3 LONDON MACCABI LIONS WHITE 1
A deadly double from Daryl Phillips gave Faithfold a much-needed win as they inflicted another defeat on the lowly Lions at Chase Lodge.

Johnny Haik sealed the points, much to the delight of Faithfold boss Zuriel Solomon who told JC Sport: "We played some goood stuff today and I think we needed the win to restore a bit of purpose back into the club.

"Lions had a young team and went down to 10 men with their keeper being sent off a little harshly, I thought. We were not really troubled even so, but Lions still gave it their all and have some quality young players, but we had the extra experience to kill the game off."

    FC TEAM A 2 REDBRIDGE JEWISH CARE A 2
Strikes from Lorian Madanes and Marc Harris helped FC Team register another point to move further clear from the bottom two following a hard-fought tussle against Redbridge A.

Team boss Mitch Young told JC Sport: "I have mixed emotions after this one - missing seven players, including our goalkeeper, we might have been hapy with a point before the game, however I feel we dominated the game created the better chances and should have taken all three points."

    BRADY BOYS FIRE BLANKS
    BRADY MACCABI B 0 CHIGWELL ATHLETIC 0
Chigwell's strong finish to the season continues as they halted Brady's promotion hopes with a professional performance.

Chigs boss Richard Slater told JC Sport: "It was a very even game - we had more clear-cut chances to win it and two during the last 10 minutes, but I was proud of the boys - especially only having 11 men."

Brady manager Josh Dagul told JC Sport: "It was a very close game in which both teams had a couple of decent chances to take the win. However, both teams defended very well and it was a fair result in the end. With Neasden and Woodford both winning it makes life a lot harder for us, but we will continue to fight until the end."

    NEASDEN SEND SPEC DOWN
NORTH WEST NEASDEN 3 SPEC FC 1
Neasden closed in on second place as they consigned SPEC FC to second division football next season with a 3-1 win.

After falling behind to a penalty, NWN levelled with a spot-kick of their own through Jamie Cooper before second- half strikes from Ben Chernoff - a diving header - and Adam Arnold to round the keeper and seal the points.

NWN boss Stirling Kay told JC Sport: "The pressure was on to win to stay in contention for promotion and the boys showed great determination to come from behind. We didn't panic and showed great team spirit."

WOODFORD WANDERERS 3 BRIXTON OLD BOYS 1
Goals from Mitch Hahn, Jason Goldstein and Harrison Midda saw Woodford complete the double over bottom-of-the-league Brixton as they ran out 3-1 winners.

Midda opened the scoring only for Dean Rosenthal to level before half-time, but second half strikes from Hahn and Goldstein ensured all three points for table-topping Woodford.

Woodford manager Tony Charles told JC Sport: "Credit to BoB who battled until the final whistle, and their performance today doesn't reflect their low league position."

FC Team C maintained their automatic promotion hopes with two apiece from David Joseph Cohen and Joel Ross settling a six-goal thriller over a plucky Mill Hill.

Ben Kaye and top-scorer Ben Zloof were the marksmen for Mill Hill.

FC Team joint-manager Mike Myers told JC Sport: "The all-important win set up next week's promotion decider against Redbridge nicely."

Mill Hill boss Joe Levy told JC Sport: "We were much-improved second-half, although there were a few questionable decisions from the stand-in ref."

A brilliant last-minute save from player-manager David Garson earned Faithfold C maximum points as they dented Catford's promotion hopes in a five-goal thriller at Chase Lodge.

Two goals from top-scorer Dan Gordon plus one from Avi Garson earned Faithfold their second straight win.

Catford's goals came through Gabriel John and Jamie Sinai.

Faithfold gaffer David Garson told JC Sport: ""All in all a really enjoyable game to play in and I thought we were good value for the win."

    HAMBO SPURS LOUGHTON ON

Josh Hambling was the star man as Loughton put Hendon C to the sword with an efficient display in west Hendon.

Jamie Crawford, Barry Green and Josh Jacobs were the marksmen in a game where all the goals came in the second half.

Loughton boss Dan Curtis told JC Sport: "We really played some lovely stuff today, we were always in control and but for a couple of missed chances and poor final balls, it easily could have been 6 or 7-0."

Hendon manager Adam Glekin told JC Sport: "It was a poor end to a poor season. I think we're capable of so much better with the group of players we've got.

    SCHNITZELMAN AT THE DOUBLE
    L’EQUIPE 4 AC WHETSTONE 2
That man Richard Fogelman was on the mark again as L'Equipe boosted their title hopes with a 4-2 success over AC Whetstone.

Fogelman hit two, with the others coming through Richard Alexander and Jules Bohm.

Jonah Gordon Boyd bagged a brace for Whetstone.

L'Equipe joint-manager Dan Cordell told JC Sport: "Everyone within the squad is on such a high and relishing the run-in that the kids of Whetstone could have thrown anything at us and we would have still taken the three points. No-one at L'Equipe wants to give up on the title push and today was another step closer."

Whetstone joint-manager Clive Nathan told JC Sport: "It was a battle of two contrasting footballing styles. In our previous meeting we dealt with the direct approach, but in the first half today we didn't. Once again I was proud of the boys and they showed that they are quick learners with their second half performance."

'NESE FIGHTBACK PROBABLY TOO LITTLE, TOO LATE
    TEMPLE FORTUNE 3 JEWDINESE 3
Jewdinese's hopes of finishing runners-up looks to have fallen agonisingly short after they were held by Temple Fortune in a six-goal thriller in Pinner.

Two late goals saw 'Nese deny Temple Fortune a league double on the 4G pitch at the Hertfordshire Sports Village in Hatfield. Before the away side grabbed a point, Fortune led 3-1 thanks to goals by Zack Rich (2) and Darren Zitren.

Fortune bos Jonathan Cohen told JC Sport: "I think if you ask any side we have played since January they will tell you we are not a bottom of the table team. We have a great bunch of lads and although the results haven’t gone our way I can't wait to get going again next season with a couple of new additions."
