    CYRIL ANEKSTEIN CUP ROUND FOUR

    OAKS REACH SEMI-FINALS
    OAKWOOD A 3 FAITHFOLD A 1
Oakwood A recorded the result of their season so far as they sent league champions Faithfold out of the cup on their way to the semi-finals.

Strikes from Brad Wine, Sam Jacobson and Adam Levine guided Oakwood through.

Oaks joint-manager Ric Blank told JC Sport: "We played Faithfold 12 months ago in exactly the same round of the same competition and limped to a 4-1 defeat on a windy day at Parmiters. With largely the same players on the pitch, we showed how far we've come in 12 short months."

Disappointed Faithfold boss Zuriel Solomon told JC Sport: "Oakwood played well and credit to them they wanted it more. It is up to the boys to pick themselves up otherwise this season will be a disaster."

HENDON SHOW OFF THEIR SIX PACKS
WOODFORD WANDERERS 1 HENDON UNITED SPORTS CLUB A 6
Hendon showed their class in Willesden as they put six past Division One title hopefuls Woodford.

Strikes from Avidan Last (2), Yishai Last (2), Ari Last and Danny Kon eased Hendon through.

    Jason Goldstein registered for Woodford.

Delighted Hendon boss David Garbacz told JC Sport: "This was a very satisfying performance - we were delighted to get the boots back on even if they were 3G ones and we showed no signs of rustiness whatsoever in a truly dominant display."

Woodford boss Tony Charles told JC Sport: "Today was a great opportunity to rotate the squad and try out some new things in a game that disrupted our outstanding league campaign. Some of what we did worked and some didn't - those that didn't work affected the result."

    CAMDEN WIN SEVEN-GOAL THRILLER
    FC TEAM A 3 CAMDEN PARK 4
Camden Park claimed their first win under manager Nick Kagan to climb off the foot of the table.

Strikes from Guy Marks, David Khalastchi, Richard Silver and an own goal saw them home.

Relieved Camden boss Nick Kagan told JC Sport: "It was a long overdue three points - we still caused ourselves problems by conceding sloppy goals and letting Team get back to 3-3 after we had been 3-1 up. However, we got a thoroughly deserved winner at the end which capped a dominate, motivated performance. Cue widespread relief."

    RAIDERS TWO GOOD FOR LIONS
LONDON MACCABI LIONS BLUE 0 NORSTAR LONDON RAIDERS A 2
Title favourites NLR stormed 17 points clear as they came away from Rowley Lane with their 12th win of the season - Matt Stock and David Dinkin were the marksmen.

NLR boss Phil Peters told JC Sport: "This is unknown territory for most of us so we're planning to ignore the Hendon mind-games and concentrate on what we're currently very good at - winning football matches."

LML boss Jamie Kyte told JC Sport: "It was a very tight game today, with hardly anything in it. The plastic pitch specialists lived up to their name and were a tough opposition to play against. We turned off twice and got punished."

BRIXTON LATE SHOW LEAVES CHIGS FRUSTRATED
BRIXTON OLD BOYS 3 CHIGWELL ATHLETIC 3
A late Brixton equaliser meant Chigwell failed to build on last week's heroic win at Redbridge as they were held in a six-goal thriller at Brixton.

Brixton stormed into a 2-0 lead, but Chigs rallied superbly with Ryan Cole (2) and Bradley Gayer putting them 3-2 up at half-time.

Chigwell boss Richard Slater told JC Sport: "We didnt take our chances and lost concentration in defence - it was not good enough as we were all over them after the first 15 mins."

SPEC FC ARE ALIVE AND KICKING
SPEC FC 3 SHIRLEY PARK 2
Goals from Simon Bagel, Dan Pike and Ricky Lawrence helped SPEC FC boost their chances of avoiding the drop with a thrilling victory over promotion-chasing Shirley at the Ark.

Jamie Kent and Dan Oade found the net for Shirley.

SPEC goal-scoring hero Ricky Lawrence told JC Sport: "We knew we had to win, and even at 2-1 down with about 10 minutes to go we still thought we had a chance to do so. We kept pushing right to the last minute and it paid off."

Shirley boss Dave Lusman told JC Sport: "I'm not very happy - at 2-1 up with 10 minutes on the clock to go, we found ourselves short in midfield after several clumsy and late challenges resulted in our centre midfielders Dan Abrahams and Ran Subara hobbling around the pitch and with no subs - it was game over.

MITCH LASSMAN was the hat-trick hero as FC Team B moved off the foot of the table with a gutsy 4-2 victory over mid-table Bilbaum.

Matt Davis was Team's other marksmen in a thriller.

Bilbaum's goals came through Jake Gilbert and Josh Flax.

FC Team player-manager David Gordon told JC Sport: "“From an attacking point of view - this was probably our best performance and we should have won by more really. We always looked a threat going forward and the big man/little man combination of Matt and Mitch worked perfectly – a bit like Niall Quinn and Kevin Phillips in their pomp. We keep our good run going and everyone is really enjoying their football now.”
