Faithfold boss Zuriel Solomon told JC Sport: "We're happy to be in the next round in a game we were comfortable in - without really hitting top gear. Oakwood had their moments but now we get ready for Hendon next week."

L’EQUIPE 2 AC MILL HILL 6
Second division Mill Hill proved far too strong for L'Equipe to book the place in round four.

BEN ZLOOF won the battle of the hotshots, scoring three in a convincing ACMH display in a game they led 5-0 at half-time.

Further strikes from Don Nineberg, Jason Shoffman and Mark Truman sealed the win.

L'Equipe top-scorer Richard Fogelman scored both goals for the visitors, making it 19 in seven starts.

ACM boss Joe Levy told JC Sport: "We went ahead early on and played some good stuff in the first half. We will look to continuing this good run and look forward to the quarter-finals."

Blancos boss Jonathan Ison told JC Sport: ""Our cup run continues with a well deserved win - it was not the easiest of conditions as the makeshift pitch in Burnt Oak was not in such a great way, but we were still able to come away with five goals and probably should have scored more.

"The game ended with quite a few spectators who happened to just be wondering through the park, so we like to think we have done our bit to improve tourism in Burnt Oak. This was our way of helping out with all that was happening for Mitzvah Day!"

NLR boss Phil Peters told JC Sport: "This was another professional cup performance - we didn’t let our foot off the gas once and frankly it could and should have been more than eight. It’s great to be in the quarter-finals."

Camden's goals came through Rob Hershkorn and Richard Silver.

Speaking to the JC after the game Lions assistant-manager James Gold said: "You saw the lot today - in the first half we showed we can play great football and in the second we showed how much we wanted to win. Next week we face Oakwood and we are now fully focused on that game."

An inspired piece of management from Simon Linden reignited Blizzard's promotion challenge as they moved to within a point of Bilbaum.

Adam Speck, who started the game in goal, stepped up and scored a 80th minute winner following two more goals from the deadly Dan Simons, one from Dean Shaw.

Bilbaum's goals came through Ed Green, Zac Presky and Rob Lerner.

A delighted Linden told JC Sport: "It was a great comeback - we were 2-0 down, but missed that cutting edge. One goal was all it took to get us back in the game and dominate and that's what we did. What a great comeback. It really was a top-notch performance - you'll all enjoy Match of the Day Two tonight!"

We're a different team from the beginning of the year and it's down to our manager Rob Shooman who has worked tirelessly over the past three months putting a competitive team together. Next week we'll be taking it out on Haroldeans."

DAN TANNENBAUM fired a treble to boost their promotion hopes, with the others coming through Jake Yudelowitz, Will Ufland and Oli Nathan.

With Zack Gothelf away, David Domb took charge of NLR. He told JC Sport: "It was one of those days where everything just seemed to click into gear. We know what Whetstone bring and they could spring a surprise, but we played with great discipline and showed some real class on the break."

AC Whetstone joint-manager Clive Nathan told JC Sport: "Despite our heaviest defeat, I remain very proud of the boys. We didn't do ourselves justice for a 30-minute period in the first half and let in five goals in that time."

Hendon boss Adam Glekin told JC Sport: "It was a really tough game this morning - Temple Fortune are a strong, physical side and they bossed the game in the second half."

TFFC manager Jonathan Cohen said:: "This was another very disappointing result. Sooner or later with some breaks which we're not getting, I am confident we will turn this around."

Jewdinese boss Darren Lawrence told JC Sport: “This was an enjoyable game to watch as were in complete control and the result was never in doubt. I was also very happy for four players scoring their first goals for the club, rspecially my brother, Ashley, and also fans favourite Harry Marks, who scored two thunderbolts from outside the area.”
