Irving Modlin is eyeing a league and cup double after Maccabi Manchester 2nds overcame Leeds Maccabi to move into the Harold Feldman Trophy semi-finals.

The MJSL table-toppers booked their last-four spot thanks to goals from Jonny Davies, Jack Myers and Sam Modlin.

Jonny Goldstone netted for the Yorkshire side, but they could not halt the home side’s juggernaut.

It means Maccabi Manchester 2nds are still yet to lose this season – and boss Modlin is dreaming of silverware of two fronts.

He said: "I don't see why we can't do the double. We are flying in the league, but we want to progress in the cups. Now we are in the semi-finals so we are only two wins away.

"We had a few players missing here so it was always going to be a tricky test. They gave us a scare when they pulled the game back to 2-1 and then put us under pressure.

"But once we scored again there was only going to be one winner."
