articlemain

Matchday three saw North London Raiders maintain their 100 per cent record in Division One with a 3-1 win over Southgate Harmen.

Goals came from Braham Hochenberg (2) and Andy Bloom, with Jamie Chapman responding.

Despite finding themselves 3-0 at half time, South Mancs put up a spirited second-half display with goals from Darren Lewis, who also missed a penalty, Mark Klinger and Jonny Feinmesser, but Glenthorne 'A' proved too good running out 5-3 winners, thanks to a brace from Jason Levy and goals from Daniel Sugarman, Steve Faye and Hadley Silver.

EDRS Stonegrove moved to the top of Division Two thanks to the only goal of the game coming from Jonathan Holman in the 87th minute against London Maccabi Lions.

Hendon Harriers opened their account with a 4-2 victory over Temple Fortune with goals from Yossi Arvatz, Ray Selman, Andrew Cohen and David Jacobs. Alan Haranouff and Geoff Isaacs replied.

Goals from Simon Ellard, on his debut, Fara Maghim and Ed Saleh gave Marshide the lead three times only for Brady Maccabi 'B' to peg them back each time and ultimately winning 7-3 with a Roger Kay hat-trick, two superb long-range efforts from Malcolm Hershman, Gary Good and new boy Adam Lustigman.
