Former league champions Brady Maccabi A finally got their season up and running as they edged past table-toppers Scrabble 2-1.
Goals from Gideon Barnett and Darren Lewis ensured Brady got off the mark in their fifth match, with Andy Miller replied for Scrabble.
Title hopefuls North London Raiders suffered their first defeat, as goals from Lloyd Becker (2), Alex Bourne, and James Temple earned Southgate Harmen an impressive 4-0 victory. Temple scored the goal of the game with a superb strike just after coming on as substitute. He ran on to a pass, took one touch to flick the ball up and firing it over the goalkeeper from about 30 yards against his former club.
In Division 2, Hendon beat Marshside 4-0 with goals from James Ryan (2), Paul Herszaft and Adam Greenblatt.
Glenthorne A and London Maccabi Lions continue to set the pace in Division Two. Lions destroyed rady B 11-0 thanks to goals from Simon Barr (3), Bradley Lazarus (3), Michael Abraham (3), Darren Young and David Price.
But Glenthorne A remain top after Gary Adams (2), Greg Morris and Sid Shaw earned them a 4-0 win over EDRS for their fourth straight win, during which they are yet to concede a goal.
