Maccabi Masters review: January 29

Defending champions Brady Maccabi A suffered their second consecutive defeat with goals either side of the break from Dan Ruckin and Steve Moss earning Scrabble an impressive victory.

Division Two title rivals London Maccabi Lions and Glenthorne United B shared the points after a 3-3 draw. Gary Green, Adam Hart and Gary Adams registered for the Thornes, while Barry Silkman (2) and Darren Coon netted for the Lions.

EDRS Stonegrove climbed into second place with a 6-2 victory over Ashlodge . Tony Platman, Martin Seifert (3), Ian Leader and Nigel Conway saw them home. Geoff Isaacs and guest Richard Sacks replied for Ashlodge.

Temple Fortune continued their resurgence with a 3-2 win over Hendon, inspired by goals from James Ryan, Jeremy Fess and Alan Harounoff. Ashley Marks and Richard Smith struck for Hendon.
