articlemain

North London Raiders stretched their lead at the top to four points with an emphatic 5-1 win over Faithfold. A hat-trick from player-manager Richard Sacks, plus goals from Dean Schulberg and Paul Herszaft secured the points for Raiders, whilst Faithfold's scant consolation came from a Mark Klinger penalty.

Temple Fortune A moved off the bottom as they notched up their first-ever win in Masters football, with a 3-1 victory against EDRS, courtesy of goals from Graham Meyer, Robert Botkai and James Ryan. Nigel Conway replied for EDRS.

In Division 2, Brady B and Clayhall B shared the points and 10 goals. Gary Rose (2), David Jacobs, Simon Lawrence and Bruce Brent scored for Brady, while Alan Woolf (2), Ian Sumray (2) and Spencer Brookner provided the firepower for Clayhall, to earn them their first point of the season.
