MJSL JOAN COLLINS PREMIER DIVISION
AFC FLIXTON RESERVES 1 MACCABI MANCHESTER 2nd 5
Adam Herman’s double ensured Maccabi Manchester 2nd’s were in seventh heaven following a big win over Flixton Reserves.
The table-toppers coasted to a 5-1 win at AFC Flixton Reserves to maintain their 100 per cent start to the season.
It is now seven straight wins and boss Irving Modlin has his sights on winning every single remaining game.
He said: "We set high standards and we are not getting ahead of ourselves by thinking we can win every match.
"There is still a long way to go, but we are looking strong and feeling confident.
"This was another convincing win, but we will make sure we keep our feet on the ground."
Herman set the bandwagon rolling before Dan Rubinstein, Nick Yardley and Jack Myers all netted before the break.
The high-flying visitors struck again via Herman’s second of the afternoon before Gary Freeman grabbed a consolation.
