Maccabi boys take the rough with the smooth

London Maccabi Lions experienced mixed fortunes in the latest round of Watford Friendly League matches. Goals from Nick Landsberg and Jordan Marks could not prevent LML Under 16s losing 5-2 against Muswell Hill. There was better news for the Under 15s who thumped Hemel Celtic 9-0 courtesy of strikes from Michael Kenley (3), Jamie Nagioff, Jamie Kutner, Danny Berschader, Zac Skry and Adam Arnold.

Lions Under 14s went down 6-3 to St Albans Rangers. Kane Rayner (2) and Zac Case were their scorers. The Under 13s went down 4-3 to Hemel Hawks. Jonny Daitz (2) and Dominic Feldman found the net. Dylan Kaye (2), Sam Belchak, Joel Citron and George Ratner inspired LML Under 12s to a 5-0 demolition of Sun Postal.

Joseph Bellman, Joshua Burns, Adam Freedman, Sam Hamerton, Sam Martin, Jack Mattey, Reuben Rabstein and Alexander Randall earned Lions Under 10s a 10-0 victory over Borehamwood Youth in the White Division.

Oscar Cohen and Saul Fenton earned the Under 10 Blues victory over Aldenham Rhinos. Lions Under 9s went goal crazy against AEK Gold with Eddie Lisberg (4), Louis Perl (4), Joe Leslie (4), Joey Gold and Jamie Hayeem on the mark in a 15-0 success.

Goals from Jack Jerrard and Jordan Aspis earned Pinner JFC Under 13s a 2-2 draw against Northwood in the WFL Purple Division.
