New boys Maccabi Manchester 2nd started off their campaign with a 1-1 draw against Republic of Flixton at Brooklands.

There was little to separate the teams and after goalless first half, strikes from Rob Jacobs, making it four goals in two games for Republic, and Adam Stevens ensured the teams went home with a point apiece.

The draw keeps Republic, managed by Stuart Delmonte and Tony Rosenberg, top of the table with four points from two games.
